📝 I know a lot would agree that there is still an ongoing debate regarding whether it is okay for K-pop groups to release a song fully sung in English. In fact, some fans would rather keep hearing their favorite idols to sing using their mother tongue to the point that sometimes, fans would be in raged to hear their idols sing using the said language and even though many groups are trying their luck in America, seems like fans wants their favorite group to keep the Korean releases over English ones. Specifically speaking, despite the success BTS achieved after their most recent releases, ARMYs were not very happy about the songs, especially with “Butter” because it was “unexpected” for the seven boys to release another English song after their previous mega hit song “Dynamite”.
You might be wondering why I said it was a bit unexpected for BTS to share another song not sung in Korean. This is because there had been countless times in the past that the boys mentioned they were not interested in changing their initial plan of keeping the Korean song coming along. We're gonna get to that later but for now let’s get to the meat of our story today.
