While Google Drive is a convenient way to host files, most ESP32 OTA examples you find online are unstable. They often crash due to low memory (RAM) or brownouts when WiFi power spikes.
In this video, I share a "Production-Safe" code template that solves these problems. We implement Heap Memory Checks and WiFi Power Management to ensure your device updates reliably every time, even with the heavy encryption overhead of Google Drive.
