There is a one-transistor LED blink circuit which is very popular on YouTube. It looks like it is fake. It breaks all the rules! In this video we have a closer look at this amazing circuit.

Except the BC547 I tried 2N3904, BC337, S9018, A42 they all work, the BC337 and S9018 already blink at 8V, the 300 Volt A42 first does not blink but at ~15V also works fine!
