Not only for kitchen cabinet lighting... use anywhere motion triggered lighting is needed: Bathroom, Bedroom, Stairs, etc. I'll walk you through how to make this motion sensing LED strip light switch step by step.
💥 BONUS: Unlike a PIR Motion sensor to switch your lighting, the Microwave binary sensor can sense through walls - making it easy to hide. Use it elsewhere in Home Assistant for presence detection and/or Alarm System.
All functions / features have been programmed on ESPHome flashed D1 mini. No need for complex Home Assistant or Node-Red Scripts, Automations, etc.
Just add a Light to your Home Assistant Dashboard / Lovelace and put the Day/Night Mode 'activator' switch in your scheduler and you're done!.
