In this updated video, we look at how to turn your Oculus Quest into a wireless PCVR headset. This works for both Quest 1 (OQ) and Quest 2 (Q2). With a good connection to a gaming PC, your virtual reality headset can be one of the best on the market with wireless games. I break down the process as simply as I can so that you can have the best wireless VR experience possible.
First we look at hardware necessary to get this running, including what kind of router to get and how to setup a hotspot on your PC if you don't have a good router.
Then we quickly go over all of the software you need installed for this to work; including Sidequest, the Oculus App, Steam, and SteamVR.
Then I give you a guide on all of the possible Virtual Desktop settings you can change to give yourself the best experience possible, no matter what setup you have. In this guide we go over the correct codec, bitrate, and everything else to get your setup looking the best it can.

► Virtual Desktop has frequent updates, so the settings may look different and there may be new settings not mentioned in this video.
► While I recommend the router linked below, it isn't the best router that you can get, and you may be able to get better results with a more expensive router. That being said, it gives you great value at a great price. While a 300 dollar router might give you less latency, the miniscule difference in latency might not be worth the increased price.
