Learn how to block ads for free in the Microsoft Edge browser on Mac and Windows. This is for the new version of Microsoft Edge (Chromium version). The software that I was using is called Ad Block Plus, which you may have heard of before. Great add-on!
Disclaimer: This doesn't block every ad in every situation. I didn't make the software...
Note: I had another ad blocker running in the background that I had forgotten about, but this ad blocker works by itself just fine.
