Friday Night Funkin' is a music and rhythm game made up of 8 chapters (recent addition of Week End 1) in which you will have to participate in battles against your girlfriend's father who is a seasoned musician. To win the heart of your sweetheart and get his father's agreement you will have to beat him in rhythm competitions and prove that you are a better singer than him. Press the arrows at the right time to produce the right sound and keep the rhythm throughout the songs and miss as few notes as possible. Friday Night Funkin' features a story mode in which you will have to win rap battles against many different opponents over the course of 8 weeks. Sing against Daddy Dearest, Skid and Pump, Pico and many more and try to beat them all without losing the beat! The story mode offers three levels of difficulty, the hard mode is extremely difficult and will require perfect coordination. To practice, you can play freeplay mode which will allow you to work on each song individually.

Skirting similar territory to infamous Ben Drowned creepypasta, Sonic exe. is a creepypasta story based around a ‘haunted’ computer game. Switching focus from Nintendo to sega the story concerns a version of the classic game Sonic the Hedgehog that the narrator picks up as an .exe file for PC. Soon after beginning the game however, the player begins to experience strange phenomena and realises that this game is very different from anything he has played before.
Although it employs many of the same established tropes as the Ben Drowned creepypasta, (for example the concept of the ‘haunted or cursed object’ in this case a game that the user has come across in some unconventional way), unlike the BEN Drowned Creepypasta in which the cartridge is haunted by the spirit of a previous player, Sonic exe instead presents the eponymous character, an alternate version of video game icon Sonic the Hedgehog, itself as malevolent entity. Rather than being human Sonic .exe is something else and far darker entirely
