OrCam has produced some wonderful devices over the years including the Read, Learn and My Eye Pro. While they are already famous for OCR, OrCam has taken notice of the AI craze and is using this technology to improve their features, especially: "What's In Front of Me?"
This specific feature is used to get a general understanding of your surroundings. This usually includes information like: the size of a room and its expected purpose, essential furniture like tables and chairs, or how many people there are. However, this has always been a weak point for the OrCam devices, yes they would reliably provide info on the basics but now thanks to this new update we can use AI to ask follow-up questions about what is in front of us.
