Botanical Latin Names: Coriandrum sativum
Cilantro/Coriander is right there with Cumin as one of the more useful herbs in the kitchen. Cilantro is one of those love it or hate it herbs that gardeners seem to have an on and off sort of affair with. I personally find it critical to anything that calls for tomatoes so it can liven up the dish when Cumin is far too potent. This annual is temperature sensitive and will not do well in the summer heat unfortunately so it is a solid cool season herb.
