The Harvest 5400 grain seeder has undergone over 30 upgrades, resulting in a 20% increase in productivity. It has become more functional and easier to operate.
The SZ-5.4 seeder is designed for row sowing of grain (wheat, rye, barley, oats) and legumes (peas, beans, soybeans, broad beans, peas, chickpeas, and lupines) with the simultaneous application of mineral fertilizers. It can be used for sowing other crops similar to grains in seed size and seeding rates (buckwheat, millet, sorghum, etc.).
The seeder is coupled with tractors equipped with engines of 80 hp or more.
It is recommended for use on fields of 20 hectares or more.
Due to the increased working width, productivity increases by 1.5 times compared to the basic SZ-3.6 model. The MTZ-80 tractor engine utilizes up to 85% of its capacity, resulting in fuel savings of up to 20%.
When using the SP-10.8 hitch, a wide-coverage hydraulic tractor unit can be created from two SZ-5.4 seeders.
The hitch is coupled with tractors with a power rating of 150 hp or more.
The seeder is equipped with various coulters and tool sets, allowing it to be converted from one version to another on a farm.
