Creating a Shot List for a Video: Using Animatics
Creating a shot list for a video is an extremely important part of your pre-production. But once you've made it how do you know if you've chosen the right shots? Storyboards are helpful but what if there's a lot of character and camera movement? Animatics to the rescue.
We've been in pre-production for a short and took our storyboard stills into our editor to create an animatic. We'll show you the process we went through to figure what shots will or won't work in our edit, so we'll be ready for our shoot day.
