How to stop Windows 10 icons from rearranging after refresh
How to prevent icons in Windows 10 from automatically moving after reboot or refresh.
If icons on the desktop automatically rearrange themselves, you can turn this off by right clicking your desktop and selecting personalise, themes, desktop icon settings and unchecking 'Allow themes to change desktop icons'.
However if icons cannot be moved at all, simply right click your desktop, view and uncheck auto arrange icons.
