2024 GMC Hummer EV 3X Pickup - Is It WORTH EVERY Penny?
The GMC Hummer EV adds an SUV variant for 2024, joining the already-established Pickup Truck model that launched in 2023. The SUV remains essentially the same as the pickup, though with a shorter wheelbase and covered trunk space. Hummer EV is a 5-passenger electric vehicle that is offered as a four-door SUV and four-door pickup truck. Competitors include the Ford F-150 Lightning, Rivian R1T, Chevrolet Silverado EV, and GMC Sierra EV.
Four trims are offered: 2, 2X, Edition 1, and 3X. Two drivetrains are available: A dual-motor setup that produces up to 625 horsepower and 7,400 lb-ft of torque, and a triple-motor setup that produces 830 horsepower and 11,500 lb-ft. Only all-wheel-drive models are offered. 0-60 is accomplished in about 3 seconds, and GMC estimates a range of around 300 miles on a single charge. Pricing ranges from $80,000 to $107,000.
