Set Microsoft Outlook Work From Home Status
This Microsoft Outlook tutorial will demonstrate how to add work from home in Outlook calendar and how to display your work location in Microsoft Outlook. The recently released Outlook working hours and location feature will allow you to set your work hours and your physical work location (i.e. whether working remotely or from an office) per day. This allows you to Outlook mark work from home, and also display to your colleagues your Outlook calendar work from home days, and Outlook calendar work from home status. When you show work from home in Outlook and Outlook show working remotely, there is an option to display this to your colleagues. If you enable this, when a colleague tries to schedule a meeting with you, using the Microsoft Outlook scheduling assistant, a status icon will be displayed next to your name to display your Outlook remote work schedule. It is important to note that this work from home outlook calendar, and Outlook set work from home days feature is currently only available when using Microsoft Outlook on the web or if you are using the Microsoft Outlook desktop app that is in preview. The Outlook 365 work from home, and Microsoft Outlook working remotely status feature is expected to be added to the legacy outlook in the coming months.
