Jailbreak and Unlock iPhone 3g 4.2.1 (unlock iPhone 3gs also) resolve restore error 1015
in this video i will be covering a jailbreak and unlock for the iPhone 3g, this unlock method is the same for the 3gs.

Jailbreaking process
Step 1. plug your device into itunes and update to the latest firmware
Step 2. go ahead and download the firmware for your device using the application IPSWdownloader (download link ablove)
Step 3. once you have downloaded the firmware file download RedSn0w 0.9.10b5 (download link above)
Step 4. once you have them downloaded open RedSn0w and select "extras", click "select IPSW" now select the .ipsw file you downloaded.
Step 5. once you have done that go back to the first page and select "jailbreak"
Step 6. if you wish to unlock your iPhone and have not already applied the iPad baseband (06.15.00) go ahead and select "install iPad Baseband" also make sure "install cydia is checked. Select next
Step 7. now you have to put your device into DFU mode to do this make sure your device is plugged in and powered off hold your power button for 3 seconds then while still holding the power button, hold the home and power buttons for 10 seconds, after 10 seconds release the power button and continue to hold your home button for another 10 seconds.
JAILBREAK COMPLETE
Unlocking process 2:30
Step 1. unlock your device and open Cydia (you should find it to the right of our home screen)
Step 2. select "Manage", "Sources", "edit", "add" and enter the source http://sinfuliphonerepo.com once this source has loaded go ahead and search for "ultrasn0w", install it and wait for your device to reboot .
Step 3. now be patient and wait for your device to find your carrier (sometimes this might not work the first time, so just restart your device and try again)
now your device is unlocked to any carrier if you have any related questions please feel free to ask
