In this video, I will show you how to fix the LCD backlight (Display Light) problem in Nokia 112 and Nokia 114 models using a simple "One Jumper" method.
If your phone is turning on and showing graphics but the screen stays dark, this video is for you! This issue is usually caused by a broken track or water damage near the display connector.
Steps covered in this video:
Identifying the Backlight Anode (+) Pin on the LCD connector.
Cleaning the motherboard to ensure a good connection.
Applying a direct jumper from the Keypad LED to the LCD Pin.
Final testing and troubleshooting tips.
Tools used:
Fine Soldering Iron
Enameled Jumper Wire
Multimeter (for continuity testing)
IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol) for cleaning
Note: Please be careful while soldering near the LCD connector to avoid melting the plastic. If this jumper doesn't work, you may need to replace the Light Coil or the 6-pin Light IC.
