Theory of Automata | Simplification of CFG (Reduction of CFG)
This video is about the simplification of context-free grammar. Simplification involves three steps reduction of CFG, Elimination of Unit production, elimination of Null production.
Reduction of CFG involves two phases, in phase-I, we select those variables that derive som terminal. while in the second phase we select only those variables that appear in some sentential form. It means select only those symbols that are reachable from the start symbol.
