cat always hisses at me before coming to say hello?
Boogie is very new, and he is staying in his own quarantine room for now as he gets used to the smells and sounds of my apartment. Every time I walk into the room to check on him, feed him, etc he always hisses! Even if he is literally walking over on his way to say hello and the rest of his body language is relaxed (ears forward, tail up, pupils not dilated) there’s a hiss. Is this just from being a new cat and getting startled?
