Git branch best practices | Important git branch commands
In this video, we are going to learn important commands to work with git branches.
Most commonly, you'll spend a lot of time working with branches(git create branch from master, git merge branch to another branch, git checkout remote branch, git merge branch into master) So, it's very important that you should get familiar with basic git branches commands.
We are going to clone the project from GitHub to local. Then, we'll create a new branch on the local, modify the source code and then push the changes from local to remote branch.
We'll also learn how to delete the branch in local and remote(upstream)
Then, we'll create another branch and raise pull request to merge the branch change with master branch.
