Alexy II, Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia (Russian: Светейший Патриарх Московский и всея Руси Алексий II; February 23, 1929 - December 5, 2008) (secular name Alexey Mikhailovich Ridiger) was the 15th Patriarch of Moscow and of All Russia and the primate of the Russian Orthodox Church.
