Sound bars are really popular for large HDTVs. They take up very little room compared to multi-speaker systems. And today I have a 29-inch soundbar by Samesay. This soundbar features multiple types of inputs and a convenient remote control that can switch between those inputs. This soundbar has two drivers and has 6 watts of power. It even has an optical input which I was glad to see.
You can also mount this to the wall with the brackets on the back by putting two screws into the wall. In addition to the wired connections, the Samesay soundbar also has Bluetooth. Connecting it via Bluetooth was really easy on my LG 65 inch 4K TV. However, I had problems with the Samesay soundbar on my TV where I would only get 30 seconds of sound and then it would disconnect. Then 30 seconds later, it would want to reconnect. So that’s definitely not a good sign.
I also could not get input into the soundbar from the optical connection or the 3.5mm aux cable. And I tried this on two different LG brand TVs. Both less than a year old. The speaker came with it’s own cables but I tried my own too and it still didn’t work for me. However, when I connected this speaker with my phone, it worked flawlessly through both the aux input and with Bluetooth. So for me I could only really use this with my phone which kinda defeats the purpose of a soundbar.
Anyways that was my experience with the Samesay soundbar. The sound quality was just about average and the only benefit I could see is that it mainly just amplified the sound of my TV the short time I was able to get sound out of it. I’ll probably just use this for music in my garage with my phone since it won’t work with my TV.
