Role playing dimensions in SSAS Tabular model - 05 (SQL server analysis services)
Role playing dimensions in SSAS Tabular model are very useful to enhance and simplify the data model. If single dimension is being used for multiple roles then it is called role playing dimension. In SSAS Tabular model, we have one active relationship in the model and other relationships are inactive in nature. To use these inactive relationships, we have one useful function in dax that is called userelationship.
