What Is our song about ?
Of late we have been hearing a lot of news report of natural disasters hitting various parts of the world. Besides earthquakes, we hear increasing news of floods, tornadoes, hurricanes that seemed to be of greater magnitude than in the past and afflicting damages of greater degree than ever at the cost of a lot of lives and homes.
In view of this we felt the need to align ourselves with those who seek to raise greater awareness of the need for us human beings to take action to arrest the decline in our forest areas, to guard the impact of industrialization and over development of cities and built-up areas. It is with the above in mind that we have composed this song which is a collective effort. The music is an original score and the lyrics is also original.Both the music and lyrics came upon different ones of us in those moments of unplanned-for inspiration. Music genre for this song is pop and easy listening. The song arrangement is kind of like orchestra feel with a lot of vocal layers to make the song sounds a bit experimental and not just one boring sound through the whole song.
The lyrics briefly state the human element that has led to the deterioration of our environment. We voice out our cry to all man for the need to take a stand NOW and not later, to arrest the deterioration, to guard what we have, and save the world for the generations to come. We want the earth to become a greener place, the beautiful orb that it was before.
