Why Everyone Hates The HBO Harry Potter Remake
What’s up fellow Plotters! I have loved Harry Potter for as long as I can remember tbh, which is exactly why I feel so sceptical about this HBO reboot.
In this video, I talk honestly about why so many fans are reacting negatively to the new HBO series already. I do not think it is just pointless hate. For a lot of people, these films meant something real growing up, and the idea of remaking them feels unnecessary, risky, and honestly a little sad.
Whether it is the new cast, the debate around new gen Snape, the first look at the series, or just the fact that this reboot exists at all, I completely understand why fans are feeling protective. This comes from a place of love for the world, not hate for it.
