HOW TO DEFEAT ELEPHANTS IN ROME: TOTAL WAR - Game Guides - Rome: Total War
How to beat Elephants in Rome: Total War.
This is episode 1 of Game Guides, where I will be producing short, to-the-point videos about how to accomplish certain tasks in different games.
This episode is about how to defeat the dreaded war elephants in battle. To summarize, a player has these options to defeat elephants:
1. Fire flaming arrows or Onager projectiles at them.
2. Kill them with ranged units such as velites or the Roman infantry.
3. Let them run into the death trap that are hoplite spears.
