Examples of installation options:
Attach 2 corners of a triangular shade to your house, and secure the third corner with a guyed pole.
Take a shade sail to the park with one guyed pole for each corner and set up a temporary installation for the day.
Attach one corner to a tree, another to a house and third to a guyed pole.
Comes in 5 segments, each 50cm long. This allows you to reduce the height to 2m, 1.5m or 1m if required. (The shade cast by the sail will move with the sun - the lower the sail, the less movement of the cast shade.)
