In this video, we carry out a complete diagnostic assessment on a 2017 Mercedes C-Class that was previously quoted for a Cylinder 1 Bank 2 NOx sensor replacement.
The customer was told the NOx sensor was faulty and had concerns about increased fuel consumption. Before replacing any expensive components, we performed a full system check using professional diagnostic equipment.

✔️ Identified excessive heat from rear passenger-side brake disc
Sometimes fuel consumption problems are not caused by the AdBlue or NOx system at all. A slightly binding brake caliper can create resistance and increase fuel usage.
