Building Science Award: Worst Hotel Room Unlocked
Welcome to my hilarious hotel room in Miami Beach, a place where accomodations can be $30-600 per night. No idea what I was stepping into here, but now we know.
Walls and floors: paper thin, get to know your neighbors.
Door: hollow core. Knob: discount special. Security chain: screwed only to trim.
Bath exhaust fan: missing.
Bathtub: lining has standing water inside it???
Air conditioning: wildly oversized, runs 2 minutes at a time before shutting off.
Humidity: 70%, because it takes an A/C at least 10 minutes to start drying the air.
Carbon dioxide: 2500 ppm, which makes everyone in this hotel, including me, even more of an idiot than normal.
Don't stay at the James Hotel.
