NBA CLEARLY Does NOT Care About Jaylen Brown vs. Boston Celtics Storyline
NBA schedule makers snub the Jaylen Brown return narrative—are the Boston Celtics being overlooked? John Karalis of Celtics On SI teams up with Tom Westerholm to break down the first wave of nationally televised games, spotlighting the NBA’s focus on LeBron James and established superstars, while marquee Celtics-76ers showdowns are surprisingly left off the primetime slate.
Key discussion points include the impact this could have on Jaylen Brown’s motivation, the significance of early matchups like Celtics vs. Pistons, and the Christmas Day showdown against Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Miami Heat. The crew debates potential MLK Day opponents, which rising stars deserve the spotlight, and how Boston’s evolving rivalry landscape shapes fan expectations. Will the NBA’s scheduling decisions fuel the Celtics’ quest for another title, or will the overlooked storylines linger all season long?
