What Plugins Can You Build With web3.js?
ChainSafe's Senior Software Engineer Oleksii Kosynskyi runs through an example of a plugin that you can build with Ethereum's web3.js library. This video introduces web3.js for hackers participating in the Push Protocol "A Billion Reasons To Build" hackathon.
Web3.js v4.x supports plugins that extend its functionalities beyond the core library. For example, the Chainlink plugin is one of the most popular plugins that can be utilized to easily link smart contracts to real-world data and events.
Participants are required to develop creative web3.js plugins that add new capabilities to the web3.js 4.x library. The plugin can be related to any layer of the Ethereum ecosystem, NFTs, decentralized finance (DeFi), oracles, gaming, etc., for extending library features.
