The Watcher: ...and we'll be happy if you contribute, and if you want to work on someone's project, we're working hard on documenting everything on the Notion...

The Watcher: No matter what your ownership shares within the DAO are because over time, people will be able to acquire larger shares, and also potentially invest their own money into our Syndicate...But for right now, the system we have in place is really efficient and helps us coordinate without people needing to talk to everyone. That's kind of the big organization problem that a lot of DAOs are faced with - either you have a specific team that's handling most matters, makes decisions without really being accountable, and also without including the community. Or it's just complete chaos and no one really knows what to do. And that's kind of the same issue that startups at a certain phase face as well once you scale from 5 to 10 to a 50 people team or where Immutable is right now. Then these things become more complex, right? And I would say the only two ways you have is either implement more layers of management, and a corporate structure which for a startup obviously makes a lot of sense. For a DAO I think the best way to do it is to create an environment where people can work independently and are accountable for their own stuff. And that's a lot of independent smaller teams working on projects, but it ultimately adds up, right?

Immutable: Yeah, sounds amazing. Okay. Time flies. I will power through some of the remaining questions. One was on the Syndicate - what should people know about this?

The Watcher: We're generally focusing on early and seed stage investments. Right now mostly on token sales and token tables because some legal structures that are not in place right now. But trying to support projects early on that look promising and also going into emerging spaces like scaling solutions, gaming, social, stuff like that. So that's what people can invest from the Syndicate there. Then we channel the research that we're doing into investments. And the other thing that we're doing is we're building some stuff out on the on the data science / data analytics side to use on chain data, and we do plan to run certain experiments and arbitrage trading using funds from the Treasury as well. So that's kind of the two parts of the Syndicate right now that people can expect and what's going to happen.

Immutable: So people who join the DAO have the option to join the Syndicate as well and chip into the Syndicate. Is that right?

The Watcher: No. So right now the funds that are going to be used are going to be from our next token sale. They're going to be funneled into the Treasury to make investments. At a later stage people will be able to invest their own money. The only reason we're not doing this right now - there's definitely interest also in the community to do this. As I told everyone, from my perspective is it's better to get some some numbers first, and to maybe do a little trial run for three to six months and look at the results and kind of get the processes in place that are necessary to do this in a responsible way before we allow people to invest their own money. Because right now, the cool thing about is is no one needs to worry about what happens with that money right there. No one holds a stake in the Treasury of their own money. So they don't really need to worry about investments either. So we can just figure it all out and look how the most effective system looks like to do this without needing to worry. But at some point later on, if things go as planned and yeah, people will also be able to invest into the Syndicate with their own money.

Immutable: Fair enough. And finally, there is a CTA or some sort of a whitelist. Can you share more about this?

The Watcher: Yeah. So as I already mentioned, we had the early supporters, free mints in December, which is kind of our Batch One. We now decided as we kind of figured out the formal structure and everything and just a lot of people are also involved that still months later, haven't gotten their membership pass, that we're going to release a Batch Two, which is probably going to happen either later next week or this week or early next week. And we do have a whitelist for that until now it was only selected people from within the community that we're contributing that were added but we thought it would be cool if some some new people are interested here to bring some whitelist spots for them as well. For everyone that hasn't gotten the whitelist spot maybe this is their opportunity. So that's basically gonna enable you to mint one NFT when our drop actually happens.
