In this video, we will discuss Layer 6 of the OSI Model. We discussed the Application Layer in the last video, now we will discuss the Presentation Layer, its uses, importance and so on.
Data is prepared in the presentation layer so that the application layer can access it. In other words, it specifies how two devices encode, encrypt, and compress data so that it is correctly received at the other end. The presentation layer prepares any data transmitted by the application layer to be transmitted over the session layer.
