In this quick tutorial, I’ll show you how to add bullet points in Google Docs and customize them to make your lists look clean and professional. Whether you’re creating notes, assignments, or reports, knowing how to format with bullet points will help you stay organized.
Adding bullet points in Google Docs is simple. You can go to Format - Bullets & numbering - Bulleted list, or use the toolbar to quickly insert a bullet list. If you don’t see the option right away, click on the three dots (More options) in the toolbar to access the Bulleted list menu.
You can also customize your bullet points by clicking the arrow next to the bullet list icon. Google Docs gives you different styles like arrows, hollow circles, and stars so you can format your lists exactly how you like. Plus, if you want to create sub-lists or nested lists, simply press Tab to indent or Shift + Tab to move back.
