In this piece, I explored many ways music can transform, whether it be shifting from unison to polyphony to homophony, melding different tonalities through common tones, or by timbral changes.
The text is centered around the theme of transformation. These words contain three religious quotes pulled from the Bible, the Bhagavad-Gita, and the Quran, as well as one secular quote from 13th century poet, Rumi.
There is vast potential inside each human. How we transform ourselves and what inspires us to change is something worth celebrating. - Becky Turro
