The howl of the silent wolf. Sierra de la Culebra (Zamora, Spain)
The howl of the Iberian wolf (Canis lupus signatus) has become a difficult sound to hear in our wild. Having become a shy and elusive animal in Spain due to the relentless persecution it has always suffered, the wolf is nonetheless timidly expanding across our peninsula. In this video, we can also observe the behavior of a small wolf pack and learn about effective measures for protecting livestock from this predator, such as the use of mastiffs, which allow for sustainable management and coexistence with the wolf.
