Smashed Pumpkin (2024) | Shipyard Brewing Company | Beer Review |
Today is Day 5 of the seventh annual "10 Days of Pumpkin" here on the channel, and the beer I'm reviewing once again comes from the Shipyard Brewing Company (@ShipyardBrewing), and it's their Smashed Pumpkin, the 2024 release. This is an Imperial Pumpkin Ale that is brewed with pumpkin and spices. It's been about nine years since I've had this one, but I remember enjoying it, so I'm super excited to not only finally revisit it, but also give it a proper review. Let's see how it is!
Commercial Description:
A big-bodied beer with a pleasing aroma of pumpkin and nutmeg.
Pale Ale, Wheat, and Light Munich malts combine with the natural tannin in pumpkin and the delicate spiciness of Saphir and Hallertau Hops to balance the sweetness of the fruit.
This beer is best enjoyed at 55 degrees Fahrenheit.
