India Squad, Players List for Asia Cup 2023 Announcement LIVE: Asia Cup से KL Rahul-Iyer बाहर ! Team India Squad पर Big Update
India are likely to be without the services of KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer for the 2023 Asia Cup. Both the batsmen are recovering from their respective injuries. While Rahul is out of the team due to a hamstring problem, Iyer is struggling with a back problem.
Lokesh Rahul may be fit before the World Cup, but it is difficult for Shreyas Iyer to be fully fit before this tournament. A source associated with BCCI has given this information. According to the source, senior batsman KL Rahul is most likely to miss the Asia Cup to be held in Sri Lanka as he will take more time to recover from his hamstring injury, while as far as his participation in the World Cup is concerned, it will be Shreyas Iyer's choice. Can be difficult too.
Rahul underwent thigh surgery while Iyer underwent surgery on his lower back to repair a stress fracture. In the last update of BCCI, the date of return of these two was not given. As far as 'getting back to the game' is concerned, he was seen gradually increasing his workload.
