Hello and welcome to this final Blackview video.

After reading and replying to a comment, I decided to make a video and delve deeper into the tablet.

Regarding the security update, I just wanted to mention that it's dated May 5, 2025. This means you should always be prepared for security vulnerabilities. I wouldn't recommend using banking apps, PayPal, or Amazon Pay.

Furthermore, linking Google accounts would be risky. I linked my Google account because I wanted to download apps from the Google Play Store. Of course, there are other ways to download apps. As mentioned in the video, I used my POCO X6 Pro for a long time with an older security update. I even used the POCO X6 Pro as my primary smartphone before.

Returning to the Blackview Zeno 1, I wanted to say that in my case, it's only for reading, browsing, and streaming services like Netflix. Nothing more, nothing less.

I've partially solved the launcher problem, as it requires more attention and isn't easily resolved. While I did get my Lynx Launcher working—so that it loads first in the boot sequence—it comes with many limitations. This means I had to do without many Android features. As shown in the video, I also demonstrate the process using ADB and restarting the tablet.

If you can root the tablet, I think you can definitely solve the launcher problem permanently. Again, I want to emphasize that I know almost every tablet or smartphone can do this, except for a few models and manufacturers.

I managed to partially resolve the problem using ADB. It's not a 100% solution, but only a small step forward. And I'd also like to add that if you take this step, the System UI won't function correctly.

The simplest solution is to reset the navigation bar after restarting, if you're not using gestures. Tap the circle in the middle or open the settings to potentially use your own launcher.

Regarding DokeOS_P, I just wanted to say that, unfortunately, the BvLauncher is very integrated into the system, and because of this, disabling the launcher with ADB or any other method can result in the loss of some Android functions. The problem with the tablet is that DokeOS
scans or checks during boot whether the BvLauncher has been loaded, and if another launcher is listed first, it shouldn't be booted first.

I used various apps during this process, and unfortunately, I always got the same result. I think if you can root the device, it will be possible to prevent this. And by that, I mean the boot order of the launchers.

Sincerely,
