NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo Resigned. Look Back At His Rise And Fall
Andrew Cuomo was a rising star in the Democratic Party, mentored by Bill Clinton, and married to a Kennedy. But as governor of New York, his popularity dropped after news broke of alleged COVID cover-ups and sexual harassment accusations, which he has since denied.
On Tuesday, August 10, Cuomo announced he would resign in 14 days. The governor's decision to step down comes after independent investigators for the state's attorney general office found that he sexually harassed multiple female members of his staff.
