How do use the thread feature in Solidworks==
To create a cut thread=====
1) Open a model with a cylindrical part and click Insert Features Thread
2) In the graphics area, select a circular edge.
3) In the Property Manager, under Specification, set values for the following
4) For Thread method, click Cut thread.
5) Set the starting position of the Thread Location
How do show threads in Solidworks====
To do that, go to the Annotations tab and select 'Model Items'. Then select a view and a 'Destination view(s)' section will appear with the desired view, and under 'Annotations' you will want to select the cosmetic thread icon.
Difference between cut thread and extrude thread solidworks====
A Cut thread is extended and cut to match the end face. An Extrude thread is cut to match the end face. To use Trim with start face and Trim with end face, the profile must extend beyond the trimming face.
Most Important thing=========
The extrudethread visible on OuterDimeter and cutthread visible in Innerdimeter (Hole) so remmember this........
What is motion study in Solidworks========
Motion studies are graphical simulations of motion for assembly models. You can incorporate visual properties such as lighting and camera perspective into a motion study.
