With the help of his friend, an autistic circus performer must overcome a meltdown when an unfamiliar location leaves him overwhelmed.
This film was codirected and animated by Sasha Wootten and Romina Nunez. A huge thank you to Johnny Knittle and Anthony Liotta for the amazing Score and sound design respectively! This film had a huge team of artists, animators, and voice actors, all of which can be found in the credits.
I cannot put into words the way this film has impacted my life. Through working on this I've grown closer to so many of my peers, professors, and friends I’ve made along the way! This is truly my most ambitious project to date, and I could not have done it without the help and support of those around me. To all that helped, and to those who are just now watching, a huge thanks!
Please note that this is not meant to depict an overall meltdown experience. Autism is a vast and complex spectrum. No two autistic people will have an identical sensory experience, nor do they all self regulate the same. This story is meant to show the experience of this particular character. I hope this film can invite discussion amongst autistic and non autistic people about how to be better accommodating for one's unique needs.
