On February 18, 2026, the Social Security Office organized the “Social Security Across Thailand for Self-Employed Workers, Phase 2 (Bangkok/Metropolitan Area)” project. The objective of the project was to raise awareness and understanding of Social Security Section 40 benefits, which provide coverage for loss of income due to illness, disability, death, old age, and child support. It also aimed to motivate self-employed individuals to recognize the importance of securing their financial security.
