Description:
The Smart Toll Gate System is an automatic toll collection model designed to reduce human effort and traffic congestion at toll booths. It uses an Ultrasonic Sensor and Servo Motor controlled by an Arduino Uno to automatically detect vehicles and operate the toll gate without manual intervention.
When a vehicle approaches the toll gate, the Ultrasonic Sensor detects its presence by measuring the distance between the sensor and the vehicle. Once the vehicle is detected, the Arduino sends a signal to the Servo Motor, which opens the gate automatically. After a short delay (allowing the vehicle to pass), the gate closes again automatically.
This system can also be further upgraded by adding components like RFID modules or payment systems for real-world smart toll collection.
