An AI agent building an animated, flowing-surface material from scratch — graph laid out, wired, textured, then set scrolling and recoloured live. No keyframes, no manual node-dragging.

Claude Unreal lets Claude Code drive Unreal Engine through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Part 6 focuses on the Material Editor: assembling a shader graph from the command line — a texture coordinate feeding a Panner, into a texture sample, multiplied by an emissive tint — wiring it, and dropping in a glowing texture. Then it makes the surface move by setting the Panner's scroll speed live, applies the material to an elevated, tilted panel that flows head-on against the sky, and adds a second Panner layer for a shimmering interference effect. It ends with a live colour shift, lava-orange to electric-blue, while the surface keeps flowing.
