Simple comparison between lumen hardware ray tracing and path tracing inside Unreal Engine 5. Lumen is new fully dynamic global illumination and reflections system in Unreal Engine 5, designed for next-generation games. It look very close to path tracing and is around 6-10 times faster than path tracing.
