A lot of players have been calling Conquest Derealize one of the hardest activities in the game, some even saying it feels worse than –50 Grandmasters. That made me curious, so I took this Hunter build in to see how it would really hold up.
Honestly? This setup makes the mission feel way easier than expected.
Hunter in Renegades is in a really strong spot right now. With recent buffs and the addition of Fortune’s Favour, Hunters finally have access to builds that combine top-tier neutral gameplay with serious boss DPS. I still think Warlock edges out overall, but Hunter now feels stronger than Titan in most endgame situations.
The core synergy here is Fortune’s Favour + Wolfsbane. They feel like they were designed to work together. Attrition Orbs keep your Void Overshield constantly refreshed, while Fortune’s Favour boosts your damage by 15% whenever you’re overshielded. The result is excellent survivability during DPS phases and damage output that never drops.
For weapons, the new Compact Defender sidearm with Destabilizing Rounds + Repulsor Brace is absolutely insane. It hits harder than every legendary primary in the game, instantly refills Void Overshield, and fits perfectly into this build’s loop. Combined with Wolfsbane, you’re constantly overshielded, buffed, and deleting everything in front of you.
If you’ve been struggling with Conquest Derealize or heard how brutal it is, this Hunter setup turns it into a much more manageable and a fun experience.
