Amelanchier alnifolia and Amelanchier canadensis
Amelanchier is still a rare crop in our gardens. This is understandable: the berries are small and grow vigorously.
But breeding advances, and I'm pleased to introduce you to new, wonderful varieties of Amelanchier alnifolia, which bear wonderful, large, tasty, and juicy berries.
It's very winter-hardy, and its flowers are resistant to spring frosts.
