Worlds Coolest Nightlight - Neopixel Matrix Projector - ESP32 ESP01 Project 3
This is a project using an inexpensive ESP-01 loaded with MicroPython to run a simple neopixel matrix projector. It would work with an ESP32 or 8266 just the same.
You can get the software I used from my website, claytondarwin.com. Look in the downloads/ESP8266 folder. This requires main.py and pixeler.py and was loaded using REPLace.py.
Everything is wired as per the specs for the item. Don't forget to use a smoothing cap on the power for the ESP-01. I put one on the 5v input as well.
