EU4 Advanced Tips and Tricks to Absolutism (1.33.3)
This is a quick impromptu "lecture" on some of the deeper strategies/facts around absolutism. There are many absolutism guides (in particular, Reman's) that are great resources. The difference between other guides and mine are the following:
1) This one is up to date. Most strategies/facts did not change, but 1.30 estates did change a bit of the dynamic, which for example made the particularist trick worse. And made estate management a more relevant topic w.r.t absolutism.
2) I assume a decent amount of baseline knowledge here. This is not a beginner friendly guide, and I focus more on advanced or subtle aspects of absolutism.
3) Mine is an unscripted impromptu mess. There's some beauty to this style of presentation I think, but it certainly doesn't make the information as compact as possible. I also don't have the opportunity to verify facts during the take, so I tend to stray away from giving precise numbers. If I ever do give precise numbers, you should definitely verify that I'm right... I'm also sadly still suffering post recovery symptoms of covid, hurting my ability to articulate well and also forces me to cough a lot. If you hear random pauses, that's most likely me muting to cough.
