GDPR and Collective Redress
Gradually the EU Collective Redress Directive gets into operation and allows ‘Class Actions’ for GDPR violations. Courts also gradually confirm that GDPR violations can create relevant non-material damages. However, so far there was not an instant boom in such litigation. The panel is meant to look at the reality after the laws (largely) being implemented and highlighting practical and legal obstacles.
